The Nouveaux Arts String Quartet has been retained to perform by local organizations like the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, Lodi Lunchtime Live and Lodi Nighttime Live. The
quartet has been the live ensemble of choice to entertain the Governor
of
California, mayors of Lodi sister cities Kofu (Japan) and Lodi (Italy),
Colin
Powell, Denis Waitley, Barbara Bush, Steve Martin, Charlton Heston, and
perhaps
most importantly, the thousands of associates, special friends and
relatives
attending business, social and private events. While
the majority of performances occur locally, in California’s
central valley, the
Nouveaux Arts String Quartet has been hired to perform as far south as
Snelling, as far west as San Francisco, and in the Sierras and
foothills at
some of the loveliest event sites in California. Originally
formed and named in 1979 at the University of the Pacific Conservatory
of Music
to enhance public image and public outreach, Nouveaux Arts has become
the most
organized and experienced ensemble of its genre in the area.
